Cheap pointy wanted

Bike now purchased. 26k red S with light scrapes down one side £925!

[s]Hi All
Colleague of mine is looking for an SV, but he only wants a pointy and he only has £1200 max! So he isn't too worried about condition or miles within reason.Yes I've told him but said I'd place the ad anyway. PM if you have anything. he is located in Kent.
Thanks.[/s]

Re: Cheap pointy wanted

I have a burnt copper 03 pointy available for sale ... but the bike's on the Wirral ... in case he's interested, it's got 27,500 (ish) miles on the clock, tail tidy, braided front brake hoses, Zero Gravity DB screen in smoked tint, Micron carbon exhaust (road legal - well it's got no markings on it :P ), original exhaust (if required). It was last serviced about a year ago, and was taxed and MOT'd about 4 or 5 months ago (so tax will probably be up soon). Has a pair of fairly new Bridgstones BT021's on it that have barely been used (probably put about 2,000 miles of commuting on them) and also has a brand spanking new battery (earlier this year) :)
EDIT: it also has mini indy's on the rear

Nothing wrong with it that a good clean won't sort out ... just one "untidy" thing is the right-side seat panel (the small triangular-ish shaped piece of plastic that covers the seat bolt) ... it's a bit stuck ... because the bolt holding it in place is stuck fast but the head of it was made of the usual Suzuki cheese and so has all but disintegrated, as I needed the seat off to get to the battery I had to "dremel" the piece of plastic out of the way (it still snaps on though) :)

Why am I selling? Well, my car needs work doing on it and I've just had my bike insurance renewal notice through and it has MORE THAN DOUBLED (feckin robbing bar-stewards) :(

Was looking for closer to £1400 but will accept £1200 for quick sale.

PM me for further information and contact details. Can send photos on request.

Cheers,
Pete

I passed the details to him Pete but he's looking for something more local. He is an idiot. Almost tempted to have it myself at that price. Do you not do ebay? I would have thought that would easily make more than that!

I would do eBay if it doesn't sell by using "free advertising" first. I know the bike is probably worth £1400 - 1500 but my car DESPERATELY needs that TLC and I can't be arsed to haggle with people over a few hundred quid ... £1200 will give me enough to get car done, with enough left over for Christmas :) and I think is an absolute bargain ... and I'd rather someone got a bargain and got use out of the bike because I'm not getting the use out of it that I would like to (without purchasing a brand new set of waterproof gear thanks to the weather in this country!) ;)
Cheers anyway :)
Pete
