Seat Cowl Fitting Instructions?

Introductions first, I`m Dan and I am new to this forum, and new to motorcycling, so the SV is my first "proper" bike.
I have recently purchased a genuine seat cowl and fill plates for my `08 pointy, however there where no fitting instructions with the cowl, it looks very simple to attach, but the question I have is that the two bolts which attach the grab rail currently will be set to a factory torque and i was wondering if anybody knows the torque of these two bolts or even better if any one has a copy of the instructions which came with one of these seat cowls. I am not totally useless with a spanner and screw driver although this post makes out I am, I am just making sure that I do everything correctly. Cheers

I wouldn't worry too much about the torque setting for the grab rail bolts, just make sure they're good and tight.

You could always put a drop of loctite on them too !!

No need to on mine as the powder coating acts like loctite

Sweet, cheers for the quick replies, thought that a good hand tight would be good enough.
