Possible new comer !!
 

Hi guys,

I have had a few years off motorbikes but am looking for a nice bit of cheap weekend fun and the SV sprang to mind!!

I am going to look at one tomorrow night, 650s k3 (2003) with 23k on the clock.

The owner says it has had quite a lot of bits service wise carried out however mostly by himself and a mechanic friend so little to no stamps In the book.

To be honest I would be getting it for quite a good price but the fairing has a few marks on it. Is there anything I should be looking out for when viewing? Are they prone to anything? Fork seals, electrics etc.

I don’t know much about these bikes other than you get a lot of revs for your money! What kind of price should I be looking to pay for it ?

k3 in decent nick should be between 1300-1600-mind that its the model that has some different parts compared to other pointys but not to many.
