will a viper exhaust go straight onto sk8?
 

hi PLEASE HELP!

looking at buying a viper exhaust for my dads suzuki sv650 sk8, and want to know as there seem to be mixed reviews, will it fit straight onto the existing exhaust system or do i need a link pipe or cut anything?

urgent response needed if poss??

yes the OEM exhaust pipe will need to be cut, yes you'll need a link pipe, 2 clamps and a bracket to attach the new exhaust

I have one on my SK7. Brilliant exhaust got it from someone on here and the sound is amazing in a tunnel :O

You will need to cut the factory exhaust system to fit the Viper and it should come with the necessary link pipe and clamps, and instructions telling you where to make the cut.

got a viper can fitted to my K3. Very nice sounding and made definate improvements to the speed in which the revs pick up on the bike

great thanks. was going to buy one off someone on here and they have said i wouldnt need to cut anything and it should slip straight on. said it comes with a bracket and thats all i would need?

did you need to cut anything? or use a link pipe i'm trying to buy one off someone on here and they've said i dont need to do anything should just fit straight on?
