Ticking Noise

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to pick your technical brains for a sec.

I have a 2003 Pointy and have noticed recently i have this ticking noise coming from the front end of my bike. It gets faster when i twist the throttle, this also happens when the bike is stationary.

Any idea's?

I'll try and get a video of the noise 2moz when its not dark

My bike has only done 9500 miles, would valve clearances need doing at this point?

My old Mini used to do this just before the Solonoid gave out.

Do SVs have Solonoids? Discuss.

More likely a bomb.
