Google Chrome - Cookies Exceptions?

I've just made the switch from firefox to chrome. Seems ok apart from the tabs, but I've never liked tabs. Everything loads up a lot quicker, especially youtube.

Anyway...

I'm trying to set up the cookies like I had them on firefox. I want it to block all cookies except from sites that I allow.

I've put all my allowed sites in the exceptions list but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've tried "Allow local data to be set", "Allow local data to be set for the current session only" and "Block sites from setting any data".
I've got "Block third-party cookies from being set" and "Clear cookies and other site and plug-in data when I close my browser" ticked.

Is there anyway to do this?

Also I want it to clear all history when I close it but there doesn't seem to be an option for that.

I'm in the same boat, I hadn't got to wondering this question yet but I've just had a look, I've got my cookies allowed to set data for the session only, allowed an exception for foums.sv650.org and that seems to keep it. I had to disable the delete cookies upon exit as I think the session thing will sort that.

I'm quite liking chrome now that I've found out where adblock plus is, the web is pure again! :)

edit: all options to be found under, options, under the bonnet, content settings. Top section. HTH

After ditching AOL and going to Sky, I installed Chrome, I'm loving it.

Does loads of things AOL browser never did.

I like the speed of chrome .
I leave my anti virus to do the cookie thing, is that wrong.
Does clearing the history make it faster ?

If I do that it still lets all cookies in and it doesn't delete them when I close the browser
