Wires on indicators

Had a new set of lights for xmas, the wires are black and yellow, i'm punting a guess that black is live, has anyone had a set and know the colour scheme for them...?

Dosen't really matter, I'd bare the ends turn the indicator on and just hold the wires together to make sure it works, before permanently attaching them.

Yellow will most likely be live I'd say. I take it they're not LED's?

Ideally you want an led flasher relay to sort out the fast flash rate issue that you WILL have! Search ebay for Suzuki 7 pin led relay. Cost just under£20.

If they're led then it does matter - they'll only work one way, but you won't damage them by connecting them the wrong way round so try it and see.

You can use resistors instead of changing your flasher relay - you need 10 ohm 10 watt resistors (Maplin), one wired across each indicator, see this thread

prefer the idea of just shoving a relay in
will this one do the trick..?
