Soooo... Hello!
 

Hey all,

New rider here, live in Colchester and passed my test last July. I got myself a 99 SV off of eBay. Just thought I'd say Hi as EssexDave suggested I introduce myself!

Oh, the bike - the last owner put up a video to help sell it:

I've put about 500 miles on it, a new battery, some bungs and bought a trickle charger. I gotta say, I am loving the SV's forgiving and smooth ride, can't wait for the weather to get a bit warmer - apparently the tail end of this week should be a bit better?

I too can't wait for the cold to ease up. Almost slid sideways trying to get off the driveway this morning!

Welcome to the forum,although you may find a variety of other bikes on here most are ex-SV owners and a decent bunch,some old some new to biking and I must about be the grandaddy of them all.

Enjoy your bike but please don't do anything silly regarding the winter riding,sometimes it is better to curb enthusiasm, get a bus or a car and then you know you still have your bike for the nicer days
