Tyre fittng service.

Morning all :-)
Looking for a garage in/near Warrington that will put my brand spanking new tyres on my bike, at a reasonable price. ;)
Got one quote from TST Tyres: £30 to fit tyre to wheels + £30 to fit wheels to bike. I don't think so!! [-X
Please do not mention RD5 or Hammer and tongs :smt018. Want to try somewhere else.
Thank you in advance.

I use mobile tyre services www.biketyreservices.co.uk who are the cheapest for tyres fitted.

If you already have new hoops and are looking for somewhere to fit them, what about Millenium in Thatto Heath?

Cheers for the response. Sent an e-mail to www.biketyreservices.co.uk, to see if he does my area and just for fitting. As for MMC, too expensive again. :-(

Take your wheels in, re-fit wheels yourself.

Re: Tyre fittng service.

Recieved a reply from Matt ( www.biketyreservices.co.uk ) and he quoted £50. To me thats a good enough price, the reason..Everything is done at home with no complications, very convenient.
If I had a couple of stands I would take the wheels off, but I don't.
Michelin 120/70ZR17 180/55ZR17 Pilot Power Pair: £147.69 ( M&P with delivery and 10% discount code SW10 )
Fitting: £50
Total: £197.69
Budget: £200
If I had the stands, I could have done it cheaper by £20.

Re: Tyre fittng service.

Did you ask Matt to quote for the tyres too, or had you already bought them?

I use him (and have recommended him to others) because not only does he come to wherever you are (work/home) and fit them, he is cheaper for rubber normally too.

So I end up saving around £10-£20 on the fitted tyres, plus I don't waste any petrol/time riding somewhere to get them done.

Plus he's a top bloke and rides himself.

Glad I was able to help!

Already had the tyres, just needed the fitting.
Tyres been sat in the garage for a couple of weeks, while i've been working on the bike.
Thanks for the recommending him.

Will give him a try too, ninja needs new supercorsas and my dads kwak needs some new ST tyres.

Guy i've been going to for years isn't exactly taking the pi$$, but at the same time isn't even trying to be competitive on price anymore. Resigned myself to buying off the internet and taking them in to be fitted to loose wheels.

Thanks for the tip Nobby
