carby race fairing
 
hi,has anyone fiited a carby race fairing on to a pionty model and how easy is it :confused:

hi m8,,,no sutch thing as a carby fairing, you are (as i understand it) allowed to fit any fairing you like, to both models, i use a coppy 916 fairing on my carby, the challenges on fitting this item to a carby are the same chalenges that exist in fitting to a pointy, there are comercialy available items described as universal fairing mountings ect, but as with all race projects a little design must come from yourself, rob www.rvracing.co.uk

Unless its a sharkskins one as they are specific, would be a tight fit on an injected imo as the headstock is higher and the whole bike is generally taller

Last time I looked into them they were about £600 for a fairing!! made from a different kind of fibreglass though and crash incredibly well, a few people in the uk copied them and were normal race fairing price
