Broken mixture screw in carb body

Hi All
Got a spare set of low mileage carbs which I'd like to fit to my SV. Only problem is the mixture screw is stuck in there. You can see the "shoulders" of the screw are missing and its a bit scratched up where someone has tried to get it out. Any good tips on how to remove this screw?
Thanks

You can by screw extractors for this very problem. You drill and tap a thread that is the opposite of the screw and out it comes.
If there is anything you can get hold of on the screw. you could try applying heat to the local area and see if that frees it enough to turn. Remember "righty tighty, lefty loosey"

Get some plus gas on it and soak it.
Could be worth getting a left handed drill bit and seeing if that can get it out.

The screw extractor would personally the last option.

Good luck, these are a complete b*stard.

Soak in plusgas, apply gentle heat, repeat a lot.

Then I would start in with a left hand drill and hope for the best. Good luck.
