Hello!

Hi Guys,

Im not sure how many people are here still from when I was actively postingand attending the meets - but here is an update on me!

I broke my ankle really badly on the 3rd March 2011 and I am just startingto think about getting back to running and even thinking about getting back onthe bike in the summer.

I am going to use the spring to do all the jobs Ive wanted to do (necessaryand unnecessary) on the bike so hopefully by the summer my bike and me will beready for action.

I also had my lovely bike stolen (still the same SV650S K3) but luckily itwas recovered with minor damage.

Anyway,

I hope everyone is good and if anyone remembers me then hi

I should be more active again now I am starting to get motivated and I cansee some light at the end of the ankle tunnel!!

Re: Hello!

I remember you

You were asking about meets and stuff as you were moving to Abertawe

I am saddened to hear you broke you ankle. I am guessing that it was not bike related?

Also, sorry to hear about the bike being stolen.

Not had the best time of it have you?

Good luck with all you need to do in the future

Re: Hello!

Hi all, yes 2011 wasn't great! I broke my ankle really badly slipping on a step, I was in hospital for 8 days, got 12 screws and an 8" plate holding the bone together. I ripped the ligaments too, so still it running properly bug the swelling has gone down enough for me to contemplate getting back on the bike in the summer, yey!

While I was laid up at home, some toe rag stole my bike which lucky they couldn't start because there was not battery! I had got it removed as I wouldn't be riding it. The police recovered it, a but of damage to the fairing, cracked screen and the ignition was barreled. I replaced the lock set and doing that seems to coincidentally fixed the intermittent c-42 (IIRC) error I was getting.

With the weather getting better I'm going to sort out the last few bits and hopefully get back to the joys I've missed :)
