me:

1. i like the taste

2. mainly home

3. almost never (about 5 times a year)

3. beer and bacardi. Deuchars IPA and Old Peculier being my 2 fave beers.

1) I drink for the taste, relaxation and the social aspect
2) Mainly in the pub. football or friday night out
3) I probably drink twice a week, I would guess about 20 units/week
4) Bitter if on beer, A G&T if at a do, Islay malts when I fancy one

I used to drink a fair bit, mainly down the pub before blues matches and a few times in the house in the week.
But ive decided, along with the wife to eat and drink a bit more healthly so i dont touch a drop of alcohol in the week now and ive stopped going the football (bored of football atm) so my consumption is probably 25% of what it was.

I love cider, strongbow is favourite along with the stell one.

4. lager early on in the night or when at home and then sailor jerrys or brandy later on.

2) In the house, or at the ground if at the rugby
3) Most weekends
4) Ale, not fussy as I'll try it all. Larger if in the house (Cobra or Grolsch)

To be sociable, and because I like the taste. I know my limit, and stick to it. I don't do drunk, I don't like hangovers. I don't do drunk people either. Far too many painful memories of drunk spouses.

These days in the house, as we don't get out much. I used to love going to the pub, but trusted babysitters are hard to come by....that means grandparents.

3. how often do you drink?

Once a week, although from Valentines we had a few nights in a row, but nothing to say we are alcoholics. We may not have a drink for a fortnight now!
4. what's your favourite/preferred tipple?

I do love to have a nice glass of port or two, however I really am a red wine drinker.
Have been known to have one or two 'mules'.



Many moons ago, I woke up on Xmas Day on the toilet floor, as I was too drunk Xmas Eve, and daren't leave the toilet. I swore I would never get so drunk again. Its on a very rare occasion(once a year if that), someone might have to leave the bedroom lamp on to stop the room spinning :lol:

2. Ends up being more in a pub cos I never have any of what I want in!

3. Not a lot now, I'm saving the pennies :rolleyes: Once a week if I'm lucky. If I had it in I'd drink it so probably just as well.

Cidre but the proper stuff, none of this mixed fruit and strawberry stuff. Black Sheep. And if I'm feeling girly then mixers like Archers and Malibu but only if I'm out and they're on offer ;) Don't do wine. Like port.
