maxton rt 10 unit
hi all i have in the rear of my carby, a maxton rt 10 unit, im not an expert at set up in this earea, i did try to ring richard at maxton, but assumed he would be biz owint to the time of year, my question is, on the bottom of the unit there is a small adjusting facility between the legs of the fork, this you have to turn via small tool, to iether + or - this controls the re bound damping, does reducing the rebound damping ie moving to - speed up the movent of the wheel back onto the road after a bump, or does it slow down the wheel, i would like to speed up the wheels doward travel please, the bit from ginger hall to ramsey is horendouse, as wayn will tell you, tar all:confused:

Re: maxton rt 10 unit
It is like a screw inside, if it is marked with - that will speed up the return of the wheel to ground.
You can try it, count all clicks you have so you can return if needed, wind it all the way to -. It should bounce about (just bounce on seat). Then turn it all way to +, it should "stick" down and rise back up really slow. Richard is busy at all time of year :-P |
