Fitting restrictor washers?
 

I have got the dimentions for the washers from this site and got some laser cut out at work. They are 44mm dia with an 18mm hole. On the thread that says the dimentions it says that they go inbetween the carbs and the engine. Do they sit on a lip or anything and do i put them in from the carb side or the engine side of the inlet rubber?

Does anyone have a guide to doing this or can write out how to do it? i am mechanicaly minded so i wont find fitting them a problem.
