Changing mileage on speedo?

Hiya guys I have an imported sv650 which I am going to register once I get lights and stuff sorted and time to do it

As my bike reads I kph a k's for the mileage if I bought a uk spec set of clocks could I have the mileage converted and set on the English clocks so all distances match?

I would imagine very difficult to do, there are companies that offer the service though. If you can't get it done or it's too costly you could take a photo of the old and new clocks side by side as proof to keep with the bike.

Was thinking of the photo. Just would be much easier if I could bung some clocks on and forget about it though lol

About 5 years ago I looked at it for a car, the cost wasn't worth it so did the photo thing. You may get lucky with a second hand one with about the right mileage on it.

You don't say if your bike is a curvy or pointy model. If it is a pointy you are in luck as you can change the clocks to read in MPH by pressing a few buttons...

Just saying like.

That is only on the uk spec pointy. the OP says he has an import.

Yes if a pointy. hold the right button for a few secs and it will change . But if a curvy you need new clocks
