SV650S - better fairing?

I have a new SV650S (which I think is a great bike!). I have had a long gap without a bike (decades) and had forgotten how thick the air feels when travelling at speed (e.g. on motorways).

1. I know you can get a "double bubble" fairing. Does anyone have any experience or views on the best replacement in terms of effectiveness, quality and value.

2. Also, any opinions regarding a quiet helmet (less wind noise) with bluetooth. I have a cheepo starter full-face but years ago used to use an open helmet with goggles (much better visibility than using a visor).

Cheers

The best double bubble screens I've ever used were Zero Gravity but they are pricey!
They come in Double Bubble or a touring shape for even more protection from the wind :)

I only ever use Arai helmets (which aren't the quietest so I use earplugs) but fit my head shape better than any other, so I'm afraid I can't advise on quieter lids.

I'd suggest a helmet with a flush fit visor, I've only ever worn Arai but they are the loudest helmet I've ever worn. Quietest helmet I'd say was a Shoei Qwest or a R-PHA 10.

If your after a helmet with com, I'd recomend a Qwest & a Scala Rider or a Xlite N.com. depending on your budget. If vison is a worry the Shark Vision has a very good visor one of the widest visors I'm seen & was farily comfortable too.

As Runako has said below, the Schuberth helmets are on the expensive side but are great helmets. Nolan do a few good com helmets.

Schuberth ... bluetooth capable ... they make the BMW system. Quiet & quality but be warned, you pay for what you get.

I have a Puig DB screen that is very good, which is handy because I threw away my clip ons and put dirt bars on the bike and sit up right. Don't feel the wind until I am at speeds that we do not discuss in polite company. ;-)

I have a Vemar lid that I have used with cheap coms kits, that has been OK and I know that they do a Blue tooth version, but I prefer ear buds and Slayer if I am honest.

+1 for the puig. I'm not tall at 5'8 but I notice the difference with it on. Improves looks too IMO http://img.tapatalk.com/d4b780be-0138-1b52.jpg
