Penske group buy - interested?

.......unfortunatly the rear is going to be the costly end to sort. The intial cost may be high but it can be offset against the resale value of the shock but it must be removed from the bike and sold seperatly so keep the original shock, a used Penske will sell for between £300-400.

New Prices, in the UK for a 2-way is £666 and in the US about £440, there'll be P&P plus customs on top but should still be a saving and also if there's enough of us interested we may even be able to do a deal in the UK.....

Express an interest here initially, if there's enough I'll do some reseach on discounts etc.

Which for the road will be more than adequate, lets face it unless you get the spring rate and damping set up exactly for the rider it aint goon make a fat bum worth of difference having a £600 penske.

We all like to think we are Stoner but in reality we is just mere mortals riding a 70hp road bike on road tyres!

Stick to the under £100 ex GSXR / ZXR shocks.

Aye, sound advice. Especially as I'm about as far from Stoner as Putin is from Jesus...

how bad are Hagon shocks?
fully rebuildable and under 300 notes.
has anybody got any feedback, or is the reason nobody has them is they are no good (i nearly said crap then)

penske look nice and the small bits ive read about them all give good reports but at the moment until ive sorted the front ill have to pass.

You would be better off with a Nitron sport shock for £350.

Yes a proper built for the SV aftermarket shock will be alot better than a ZX10 shock which runs valving to suit a ZX10r's linkage rate and swingarm rate. If you ride a well set up SV with aftermarket suspension you will see the difference and what its worth!.

i was going to post something along those lines but it falls on deaf ears. i have a nitron sport and i feel no need to have fancy clickers. it done what it said on the tin and i have not found the need to change the settings that it came with. i have not needed to cut anything. the only thing i will say is that the fast compression is a bit off and when i get it serviced i will ask them to soften it up a bit.

i have had a gsxr shock on the last bike and i can tell you the nitron is way better.

i'm sure that Nitron will do group buys if asked.

I'm pretty sure mine has Hagon on it a the moment, it's firmer than stock but that's about it. IMHO the SV is a great road bike the only flaw being the suspension, a Hagon shock has very little resale value unlike a Penske that will sell all day long for at least £300. You don't have to ride like Stoner to appreciate a decent suspension set up on the road.
