Clutch Drag.

Took the bike out yesterday and noticed I was finding it difficult to find neutral when stopped at ligths etc.

Oil (Fuchs Sikolene semi synthetic) is less than 400 miles / 3 months old so any ideas what could be causing it?

Not had these issues up until yesterday and the bike hadn't been thrashed in any way.
Forgot to add the bike has only done 6.4k miles and has had an easy life.

Ideas??

oil level would be first port of call, then clutch adjustment, then notched basket, in that order, look them up all have been extensively covered on here.

how about the chain tension? when i've problems with the gear (even on track days) 99% of the times is just the chain with the wrong tension!

well than maybe the person that laid hands on your bike tightened the chain not enough or the opposite!

I fitted EBC heavy duty clutch springs to my trackbike when clutch slip between 5th and 6th gear (back straight Cadwell) never had a problem since.

Well hopefully problem solved.
I adjusted the clutch cable at the lever but I also took the wheel off and re-fitted it.
I took the front sprocket cover off for a look and it all looked ok.

The new position of the wheel is quie different to it's previous position but I used a combination of te markers, line of sight down the chain between sprockets and also the position of the teeth within the chain and also tried to measure it too!

One question, how free should the rear wheel be? When I rotate it , it maybe spins 2 or 3 times befor it stops. Wondering of the rear brake is rubbing a little.
