Panic buying, governments fault?
Just found out ( maybe slow I accept) on the news that unite, who are encouraging strike action for the tanker drivers, are labours biggest funders.
So they are giving the government crap for starting this fuel 'crisis' and it's actually being instigated by labour indirectly. I bet labour don't condemn the strikes. |
Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
The Government telling people to fill up is creating a problem that wasn't there. Damn panic buyers.

Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
Should I laugh or cry at
a) The knobhead known as Francis Maude and b) the gullible prats queuing at fuel stations everywhere causing a shortage of fuel where there was none previously. A brain made of sheep poo in the first case and the brains of sheep in the second case. <Sigh/> |
Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
Do I have to get my tin hat on so early in the morning?
What have I been saying for the past week? Yes it is the governments fault. Remember one thing. They might lead you to think they are all seperate parties, but they are all in the same bloody club! |
Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
Very neatly diverted attention away from the tories cash for access business too.

Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
It took me ages to realise why I had to queue for 10 minutes yesterday morning to get some diesel!

Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
100% the governments fault.
On the radio yesterday they were saying that apparently the government have advised filling up whenever you get to half a tank!?!?! Seriously is our country run by people no smarter than a fish with special needs? Now in Leicester the majority of petrol station have no petrol!! (this was yesterday morning) |
Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
The year end figures will look good though!
1: put prices up. 2: instigate panic buying. (demand high, prices can rise a little more, £1.50/l here we come) 3: Profit and make the economy look better than it is. |
Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
successfully diverting press attention from the Cameron donorgate story........?

Re: Panic buying, governments fault?
The sooner we have reliable electric vehicles the better. THat'll show them :D.
I was more annoyed when I found out that councils are potentially going to charge employees £300 a year to park a car at work. |
