Should I stay or should I go now?

Planning on riding all the way around Scotland next week, setting off from Dumfries & Galloway and following west coast all the way up to top RH corner (Durness), across the top to JO'Groats and then down to Inverness, then thru' the cairngorms and back thru the middle of Scotland (hitting Dukes Pass etc),Got a pass from the missus, Bunkhouse's booked, route and all stops planned. Got the cash in my wallet, ready to go Monday lunch.

My problem is the weather report for next week is BLOODY AWFUL!

OPTION1
Should i just say b*gger it and stay at home and save my pennies, why waste my limited hard earned on a miserable cold, possible snow and sleet ride of torture? It ain't gonna be fun. Go for day trips out if weather OK

OPTION2
Its an adventure! Go for it! Its the hard times that make the trip. I am on the bike and with full waterproofs and thermals all will be fine.

If you go there will be trouble if you stay it will be double..... Sorry couldn't help myself...

You've had a bit of a disaster on the weather front I must say, But I think you should get set to go and you can always turn back if its as bad as they are making out...

A real bummer for you cause I know you've had this set for ages...

If you don't go you could test the GMv route.

If it's all booked go for it, as said you can always jump ship if it get's that bad.

never believe what the weatherman says. Monday into Tuesday will be cold but i doubt there will be much snow. the rest of the week will be around 6-10c with a warm spike about Wednesday bud damp till around Friday.

go for it and take extra gloves, socks + marigolds. as bluefish says you can always jump ship.
