'Tis nice when people post a traditional http link to youtube vids under their embedded vids though. As for google goggles - the concept looks great, not sure if the parody highlights some of the realities behind how annoying it could be "these apples are cheaper at tesco" - well I'm in Morrisons so deal with it.. Still, really nice idea :) |

Well I'm sat here on my i pad 2 and if I click on the link I can see the vid? Admittedly, there's no vid shown on the forum but you just click the you tube bit above the error message and it plays . |
Re: Googles goggles
Er the design looks a bit silly for wearing on a normal street in normal reality - shoulda gone to specsavers:

Re: Googles goggles
What you don't see on that is the battery pack required for a whole day's use

Re: Googles goggles
I think they're great and would be ideal for touring with the bike. Its an obvious view to discuss the failure of an unfinished product but the intent, I think, is to get people thinking of the possibilities. I for one am excited about the possibilities because it means this stuff is finally becoming a reality in my lifetime.

Suzuki have not made the hole in the petrol tank triangular so that I can only fill up at Suzuki branded Petrol stations with triangular shaped nozzles. They have not patented/copyrighted the brake pad mounting points so that Ferrodo etc cannot make 3rd party parts, well at least not without paying Suzuki a royalty for every part made. They also haven't sued Honda for making "A two-wheeled vehicle capable of carrying up to 2 people, fitted with an engine with a chain drive" and stopped sales of Hondas in countries around the world on patent violations. Apple have done versions of each of the above. |
