I've got the oil cooler cover and it looks fantastic! Had it about 12 months with no problems (but I don't ride it in the rain/salt) and I'm careful to wash it well.

My friend bought these and they rusted, I felt the Beowulf ones were better quality.

Are you sure it was rust!

"As only the best will do for your Suzuki SV650, the guard is CNC machined from aircraft quality aluminium.
Finished in durable black powder coating"

Beowulf are full stainless steel but so chav :)

You pays your money etc

Happened to notice Hamicad http://www.hamicad.co.uk/ also do a stainless version of these, without the SV logo on them (I think). Guess it depends on where you stand on the stainless is/isn't chavvy debate. No idea about the quality but their tail tidies seem to get fair reviews on here.

£65-ish for the pair plus postage so a bit cheaper than the others and they are doing 10% off your bill if you get a tail tidy at the same time.

I wonder how they hold up to stones chipping the finish.
I bought the Beowulf stainless too. The only thing I am not keen on with the Beowulf oil guard is that it does not wrap around the sides and so looks a little cheap but the rad guard is total quality.

Re: Oil cooler and radiator covers?

That could be an issue! So I would wash after riding on gritted(salted) roads followed by a light spray of GT85 (same as the rest of the bike in other words :) ).

They will be more work to look after than stainless but look the biz IMO!

Gt85- never used it before, same as wd40 or acf50?

Yep, same as WD40, ACF50 but smells nicer and very light so you don't get s***t sticking/build up. Used on mountain bikes a lot.
