Best vs Worst Hotel room view
I stay stay in a few hotels for my job. Some nice, some cack. So thought I would post my best and worst view from my hotel so far this year.
Starting with the worst: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...s/f1d41d60.jpg Cardiff Mecure where I am tonight! Had to get out of here so currently in the city centre having a drink in the Owain Glyndwr. And the best: http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...s/9a6ee28d.jpg Southend on sea. Can't remember the hotel right now. Anyone got any to share. Artistic license to show view from outside the hotel rather than just your room window if you like. My second one was taking across the street from the hotel anyways. |
Re: Best vs Worst Hotel room view
No picture on me, but the best view was from my room at the Raddison hotel Stansted, it looked directly into the atrium against the wine bottle tower where the girls high wire up to get the wine.
edit: This is what I could see: http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/38...n_Stansted.jpg |

Re: Best vs Worst Hotel room view
I will add to this post when I stay in a hotel, which is also fairly frequently.
Most of the ones I stay in, don't have great views. The lovely Ramada City Airport has added jets taking off until 10 at night, plus Docklands railway for added background noise. |

Re: Best vs Worst Hotel room view
This was a place we stayed in in Sri Lanka. That's our room on the far right in the 2nd pic. That's Mr LPH looking for leeches, he is terrified of them, hence having his trousers tucked into his socks!
It was formerly the tea plantation manager's bungalow, now a hotel with only 4 guests bedrooms. You have your own chef and butler. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...172_2325_n.jpg http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...170_1814_n.jpg http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...148_5873_n.jpg Worst was a B&B in Oxford which overlooked a really creepy graveyard and we kept hearing odd noises all night then were woken by the bells at 8am. |
