Superglue - help!

No laughing, but I just managed to superglue my thumb and finger together. I've managed to cut them apart but my hands are covered in glue and so is a glass table thanks to a faulty lid.

Any ideas how to remove it?

I've been told it's superglue, it will turn it back asif it hasn't set. But, I'm sure someone knows a propper cleaning agent to get it up with.

Hot soapy water, scrubbing and patience unfortunately is about as good as you're going to get.

It's ruined my manicure. And the thing it was supposed to stick - small curtain rod hook to conservatory frame - has just fallen down again.

+1. Nail varnish remover should shift it.

Slightly off-topic but I've just read "The Complete History of Glue"
I simply could'nt put it down.

If you are using nail varnish remover to shift it you need proper acetone type stuff, the newer synthetic type remover doesn't work.
