Which other mirrors fit a Curvy S ?
 

I'm running regular bars on my Gen -1 faired SV650.
The stock mirrors on mine have had a screw and araldite repair to the insides,
anyhow all i can see is my arms.

Looking for some better styled, longer mirrors.
secondhand, off some other bike ideally.


Anyone have experience of changing out the mirrors for something better ?

Just get some mirror extenders much cheaper alternative.

rather than the ( costly ) mirror extenders, ( seen them but i don't think they would be long enough ) i would like to replace the stock mirrors with more fetching and more functional alternatives, mine have both seemingly failed at the fold back point. and they have been bodged to keep from flopping around.

the ebay taiwan ones look as though they could be nasty.
the handy suitability chart lists TL1000s/r as being the same, they may do the trick.

i read somewhere that the 03 on sv650 mirror has different mount points to the gen 1
( same as gsxr 100 with the indicator in mirrors ?)

the ebay mirrors have adjustable mounts.

You won't find much choice, and those that will fit won't have the mirror arm length you need to see past your arms.

So 3 options

Fit the mirror extenders, which will keep the look of the sv

Fit naked SV mirrors, I can't remember how they're mounted, but as you've got regular bars, then you could get some mirrors that clamp to the bars

Fit some bar end mirrors, that way you won't see your arms for sure.
