Finding £20 on the floor is always nice. Or £10 in a wallet you haven't looked inside for ages.

Re: Proving liars to be liars
Proving the liar to be totally nuts too is satisfying.

Re: Proving liars to be liars
No, I never found it particularly satisfying because it usually meant a friendship was compromised or gone forever. In a perverse way its nice that I've found out but no its not something I take any pleasure from.

Discovering that the fiver I'd left in my pocket had survived the washing machine and the tumble drier was pretty good too, but I know what you mean. Mind you, sometimes the satisfaction of proving someone wrong needs to make up for a lot. An ex driver of ours has just been sacked from his job as a transport manager with another company because he told them they were doing something illegal and needed to stop doing it. His boss disagreed and sacked him. Knowing he was right all along unfortunately isn't paying the mortgage

Ever noticed people can't cope with blunt honesty? I certainly know a few people who can't. Always push the good people away and keep them at a distance..bit like DJs driver
