Jingling/ squeeking noise - Pointy.
 

Hi guys, over the past few days i've noticed an unsual jingling or squeeking nose from what i think is the front end of the bike.. It doesn't make the noise when I pull the clutch in, which means is nothing to do with brakes, forks.. what could it be?

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Its up for a service soon.. sooo :/

This may sound daft but not long after I had mine I also heard a jingling noise. In my case it turned out to be my keys rattling around on the top yoke. Also mine squeaked for a bit after having the front tyre changed, it no longer does, so I assume it was just settling in or something.

Its not my keys cus i only have one key and it has a plastic fob on it :/ can't be the tyre :/

This might sound stupid but is it the chain maybe a bit dry ? With the squeaking coming from the load being put on and off from the clutch?

Sounds like a possibility.. will check it tomorr.. i didn't lube it since i last washed the bike

I've had a whirring sound the past couple of days, as though something is rubbing.

I've lubed the chain up and it seems to have stopped.. cheers guys!
