Re: Alarm System For Pointy K6
it very much depends what you want it for really, top line insurance approved, I'd recommend the Meta 357 v2, but I also fit a few HAWK X50's, ones just over £250 the other £45, both good in there own way, of course nothing beats a physical deterrent (big lock and chain) and if they are determined it can be picked up and put in a van.
So a flashing LED, indicators that flash on arm/disarm, motion sensor and imobilisers the Hawk is great valve for money and supported from Wimbledon in London (I have two fitted), they come with a bike spesific wiring diagram and instructions (easy home fit) but if that doesn't suit and you'd get more peace of mind then the thatcham approved Category 1 meta is the one I'd have (use to like spyball to), it'll need professional fitting although this is normally in the price.. Hawk x50 Meta 357T V2 Cheers Mark |
Re: Alarm System For Pointy K6
I actually have a proper unused alarm for the SV that plugs into the loom , boxed and never installed , will like to see it go to a good home for a modest price :)
