Maxxis supermaxx sport

Just got them fitted, off to put the wheels back on the bike and will update how they perform.
Tyres were £140 for front and rear and £20 to fit and balance so £160 all in.

Previously had
•Perelli dragon supercorsa
•Battelax BT023
•Roadsmarts

So that will be what I can compare them with

Tread

0 miles = 4mm Front / 5mm Rear

Cheers, put the wheels on and realised I had taken my TPG out from under the seat to use on the car so thought I'd ride to the nearest filling station and use the air there. I had 43 PSI in the front and 32 in the rear. Good effort on the garages part. TPG now back under seat.

Oh you wont find a garage that checks the pressure before handing the wheel back, mine came back at high 40's last time but the guy is my naighbour and did at least warn me to knock a few PSI out before riding.

Intrigued to see how you get on with these. Always been an Avon fan myself, but these Maxxis are a fair whack cheaper.

ive also got these fitted, but i need a new rear it was worn down in the centre after about 2k 2.5k miles but they are very good tyres especially for the price, a new rear fitted is £80 up my way

Hmmmm... I get very close to 10k from a storm ultra, it is about £40 more for a rear (£120 ri/ro), but the same mileage would (at your reckoning ) be £360 with these and would see me doing 16 rear changes a year as apposed to my current 4-5 :smt102

Might be different mileage performance if you changed the pilot and the bike Rictus ??
