Ecu restriction, fuel consumption?
 

Done the search cant find specific answer, my k3 used to give me around 150 to the light (unrestricted) however my son's k3 is only getting about 110 at 33 bhp, what's going on? Normal?

hmm, as being young like your son, with or without restriction we get poor fuel consumption, because we love the roar of the sv and have a heavy right wrist.
but in all seriousness i only get about 100 miles till the light on my k6 restricted or not, it depends on what kind of journeys he's doing really.

It's all how you ride it (and to a lesser extent, how clean the air filter is). My SK6 does 160 to flashing light on weekly commutes.
