Levers; Titax or the like - worth it?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying some decent levers like Titax , are they worth it? Are they a simple fit , and does everything still work ok once they are fitted? Thanks appreciate comments.

Plenty have bought the cheap adjustable pazzo style chinese levers off ebay for around £20-£40 quid. They're better than standard and most are more than happy with them (myself included).
Check out the hardware section for threads, there's loads of 'em :)

I bought some titax levers for my hornet, £150. Wasn't happy with the action of the front brake (felt like it was binding ever so slightly) so I returned them. THey felt nice though, just didnt have the tiny bit of float the standards ones have and weren't machined right.

Levers mod

Those cheap Chinese levers that are quite popular on this forum, what are the benefits to this mod? Or is it just for the tart factor?

I like dog-leg levers - nice fit to the hands. Other than that looks and cheaper replacement if damaged than OEM

Had chinese ones on the pointy, much more comfortable to use than standard and quality seemed fine.

Had a set of the chinese doglegs on my curvy for about a year now. Comfortable, easy to adjust (should I need) whilst wearing gloves, hard wearing - the black anodising has stayed black, and tough - they've survived a low speed spill without snapping.
