Honda Super Blackbird XX for sale
A colleague of mine at work is selling his Super Blackbird XX. It's a nice bike andI always fancied one, but can't justify yet another bike at the moment. I remember when they came out and one reviewed said that what differentiated the Blackbird from other bikes was the way that it tried to rip your arms out from their sockets accelerating *from* 130mph!
Early models could nearly hit 200mph, without any performance modifications. Later ones were restricted to 186mph. They're also one of most reliable bikes ever made, if properly looked after. I've heard of several that have done over a million miles. As they're engineered for 200mph, normal riding speeds don't stress them at all. They're also supposed to be comfortable and practical bikes too. He says: I have a bike that I need to find a new home for. It is a very nice machine -- last of the analog models without a scratch. It has a few one-off modifications that make it one of a kind. The lights up front have been changed with a shield on the front main, pipes are modded, rear brake light is one of a kind with the "XX" emblem, etc. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2000-Honda...-/230816313723 |
Re: H*nda Super Blackbird XX for sale
They're not without their problems but then nothing is, If you like red, go for it, the BlackBird is a cracking bike, even if this is the inferior injection version ;)
I love mine to bits and cannot think of swapping it in for something else |
