iv found insurance for £600 tpft before then find one for just over £500 the bit what bugs me after i found the cheaper one, they bang on another £150 after i already paid for there mistake and if i cancelled it it would be 75%? refunded.. so in the long run il'd be out of pocket anyway

Well my Dad hasn't a clue how old I am so I wouldn't be surprised!
H&R are pretty good, you're lucky they didn't charge you an admin fee too (if you did put the details in wrong)

Now this is interesting because my Insurance is due this month and I wanted to check that my quote from CIA was good. So I went on line and used three different web sites to quote from. Money Supermarket and Go Compare both came up with similar quotes, but then I came to Compare the Market and got a quote for £85, fully comp. I checked that all of my mods were listed, my age was right and bike value was set right. Then phoned them.

The quote for £85 was totally spurious, none of my modifications had been forwarded and the number of faults with the quote ran into silliness. The person I spoke to could not understand what had gone wrong, turns out that it was just a glitch! I am still with CIA though and with a price that is close to one hundred pounds cheaper than their initial quote, so it is always worth checking.

I still firmly stand by one rule with Insurance though, avoid MCE at all costs! Sorry, I have to get that in, it was only a year ago and I am still bitter! :smt018
