Hi everyone, I'm Norwegian bike fanatic 32 year old father of 2, married.
6-7 bikes in the house, some in parts, 2 working, 1 road/go-cart track bike, and that's my SV, bought in 2002, my first bike, and I don't have the heart to sell it, it's such a great bike. I live somewhere close to Stavanger, and it's atleast 8 hours from a big track. So we go have fun on the local go-cart track, supermotards and trackbikes in 1 group and road bikes in 1 group.
The SV is showing it's taillights to alot of racing bikes out there. Grin factor is huge.

  • Maternity/paternity leave on full pay for working parents 42/five weeks
  • No of polar bears around 3000
  • Unemployment rate 3.5%
  • Inflation 2.3%
  • Population 4.7 million
  • Raw/real GDP per capita US$54,465/46,300 (2nd highest in the world)
  • Ranking on 2006 UNDP Human Development Index 1
  • Value of Norway’s oil-funded Government Pension Fund US$300 billion

12 Weeks maternity leave for fathers with full pay  It starts 3 weeks before due date and lasts 42 weeks if you(wife) choose 100%, if you chose 80% it's 52 weeks.
oh, and no polar bears in Norway, some on one of the islands under our rule...and we'll just bleach some brown bears after 3000 to make the tourists happy.

Thanks everyone for your welcome

Jayne could have used google translater  If she isn't Norwegian or used google translator I'm impressed.

I don't race, yet....We have a track being built and should be ready 2014/15, an hour away from where I live. I will get my 2 Harris framed GS 750 & GSX1100E bikes ready by then, I hope.... With work, 2 kids, a house I'm refurbishing it's kind of limited how much time I get to use in the garage.

I am a massive fan of Norwegian music, it helps to be able to understand it. ;)

I used Google by the way, I can barely speak French and German, let alone Norwegian!
