It's all going on near LPH Towers today
 

We've had armed police in a local village following the shooting of that poor off duty policeman in Clacton last night and now a body has been found in the churchyard over the road from where I spent much of my childhood in Writtle. They haven't revealed if that is the man they were hunting for or someone he's killed.

There are just too many crazies out there.

And what's more the killer is called Peter Reeve, and Reeve is my maiden name so chances are if he's headed back to Writtle we are related.

Well seems like it was him from the news. I would wish noone dead but at least this didn't drag out.

LPH, you can't pick ya family if you are related, your lovely ;). My thoughts are with off duty officers family right now though and to his friends and colleagues.. RIP PC Dible x x

He was a brave man to try and help in that situation. I hope Essex police come up with a suitable memorial for him.

Dad reckons this could be great uncle Ernie's son. The age is about right. They moved away when Dad was little but we have plenty of family buried in that church yard.
