Alright I know I am an old codger but I was thinking about all the cars I have owned to date-------------as follows
Standard Flying 8 Rover 14 Triumph Renown Morris Oxford[Side valve,looks like the Moggie] Hillman Minx Sunbeam Stilleto Morris Oxford[Farina style] Mini Cooper[1000cc] Ford Zepher Ford Corsair 2000e Volvo 142 Volvo 245 Rover 3lt Coupe Rover 3500 Ford Granada 2.3 Ford Capri[Cosworth] Ford Cortina 2000e Ford Cortina [Lotus] Ford Escort[Mexico1600] BMW 2002[tiit] Mini Cooper[1275cc] Mercedes 240D[Turbo] VW Passat[Diesel] Audi 1.8 Audi 2.0 Citreon Picaso [Hdi] Porsche 944s Honda CRX Honda Accord Honda Jazz[Sport]--current and during all that a Morris 1100,Morris Marina plus 5 VW Polo,s for the wife and not counting about 20 various assorted cars I bought to sell on after a bit of repair work The one car I have never owned was a Jaguar[worked on a few] and till this day I would love a 3.4 mk11 |

The guys in the workshop 2 doors down have one tucked away in there place, alongside and austin 7! well jealous :P |

My first car was a 1600E cortina on L plates when I was about 19. I thought £90 for insurance was extortionate.

Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Swing B275 CHR Vauxhall Nova 1.4 SR H433 GLM Mini 1000 - Cant remember the registration on this as only had it a few weeks VW Golf MKIII Gti 16V N651 BYC Ford Fiesta 1.3 Encore on an R Plate, didnt keep it very long VW Skoda Fabia, was Liz's cant remember reg plate, but I used to drive it Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI Zetek NC53 KLK ( I think ) Ford Maverick P767 OAB Current Audi A6 Le Mans Edition Avant Ford Focus 1.8 Tdci C Max Parents Cars that I can remember from when I was a kid VW Beetle Renault 5 Triumph Dolomite Renault 12 Triumph Acclaim I remember the Dolomite spent alot of time on the drive with the bonnet up and Dad fiddling with twin Carb setup on it. It had an 8 Track in the dash and an over drive switch on top of the gear lever. For some reason I loved that car. I'd love to own it now. Dad had a collection of vans and small Sherpa based Tipper truck, the one I remember really was his Bedford CF |
