highly modified curvy - cheap
Here I have for sale my 2000 w reg curvy
I have owned it for 4 years and hardly used it, maybe done 2 or 3 hundred miles in that time! Anyway its got gsxr 750 srad front suspension, Hyperpro fully adjustable rear shock full micron exhaust pipe wavy disks all round race gadgets quick shift gas flowed heads ventura rack fairing lowers alpha dot security with certificate HPI Clear with certificate under 5k miles from new! 11 months mot 5 months tax The bike has just had a complete respray in dark blue pearl with a blue prism flake. The paint is awesome. I did this as I had the intention of using it this year. Anyway I went out on the bike and it decided to chuck all of the oil out, i have a feeling its come from the final seal behind the sprockets. It will need a dam good clean to get rid of the oil plus it will need tyres. I am not spending another penny on the bike as I am getting a new one! I have spent thousands on this bike and refuse to spend any more. I am only the second owner from new, the first being a young lady. The bike hasn't even reached 5 thousand miles from new! Remember the bike needs oil leak sorting and some tyres to go! I am after £1k from a member here, no haggling that's the price! the engine does run fine although not recommended due to oil situation. |

Not buying but just thought I'd say can't see this being up for sale for too long, it's worth that just for some of the parts fitted to it! Any more pics?

Re: highly modified curvy - cheap
I might actually be interested, do you think its a big job getting the oil leak sorted? And it would rely on me selling mine first.

Re: highly modified curvy - cheap
It seems the oil has come out of the final seal behind the front sprocket, there seems to be a little dribble out of the top front rocker cover also. I rang the suzuki dealer locally earlier and the top end gaskets and the final seal come in under £50.
Remember Whilst i am being as honest and helpful as I can it is a spares repairs bike and might be a little more involved , im not exactly sure how hard it is to change the final seal |

Re: highly modified curvy - cheap
Front sprocket seal as in round disk with a bit of rubber on it?
I've had one of those pop due to chain being too tight. Luckily I slackened it off a bit and it re seated, stopping the leak before it was too late. How much oil got dumped? |
Re: highly modified curvy - cheap
