wanted - sv project

I'm looking for a winter project, anything considered but must be pretty cheap and accessible from Manchester.

Anyone got something in their garage?

Road, not track, should have said.

As for how cheap, I can buy an mot'd curvy for £800 on here so I'd like it to come in under that.

Are you after a complete bike or just a frame and go from there?

Its about three pages into the for sale forum, I saw it yesterday. There's a couple sub 1000.

As for frame vs complete bike; I'd prefer something with most of the major mechanicals present as this is about improving my limited spanner skills rather than building a monster.

Could always try me though.

If anyone is interested in a fresh project I have a spanking curvy frame and gladius engine with less than 3000 on the clock plus wiring loom to bolt in. Was thinking of a Ducati monster looking beast but with the Japanese reliability factor. Dukuki or suzati is to be his or her name :-)

It'd be great to see it completed I just haven't got the time. If someone can go the whole hog and retrofit the sssa to it then a bike is born :-)
