Petrol fail - How many points?
 

Earlier today i managed to run out of petrol on my way to tesco, i had ignored the fuel light for two days (i only do about 6 miles a day) and thought i'd get to said evil empire easily.

Ended up pushing suzy into a lay-by and walking the last mile to purchase one of jerry's cans to fill with potent liquid (there was a hill that i was not pushing her up)

My question is this - and bearing in mind i am currently on 0 points - what should my point deduction be? I fear it may be high

atm still none
but this is dependant on your forthcoming answers
did you zero your trip upon filling
did you zero your other trip upon fuel light coming on
did you pass numerous petrol stations on way

and finally
did you at least make the walk of shame look good

And could you have driven up the hill on the starter-motor and coasted down the other side?

no trip 0'ing
i passed several over the days n kept forgetting/thinking it'll be rate. Passed one deliberately today, thinking i'll wait til i go to tesco later, although this was on my way home from work - about half hour before i decided to go tesco bound.

Probably not, at least not while i pushed her on the pavement and then free wheeled down the hill, once i tucked her in the lay-by, i did however, adopt the appropriate swagger and smirk at those who gazed upon my magnificence, especially the guy in the petrol station.

No she had died before this part, i had to push her about ¼ mile on a flattish area, then coasted on the pavement another ¼mile til i reached the hill of doom which defeated me (before i used my regeneration potion).

As an added bonus i did have to walk past CMC (and back again jerry can in hand) which is the local bike shop and as such has folk milling around outside - the rain helped me by making them hide though, less shame

I reckon you are now on -50 points, and will have to undertake some Lambo's whilst wheelying with your knee down to get back in credit, hth ;)

To regain them you've got to beat a 1199 corse and Lambo in a drag race on a RS50
