Potential experimental ride-out Sunday 2nd
 

If I don't drink too much tonight AND I'm allowed out I'm thinking of going for a ride around Basingstoke, Mitcheldever, Overton etc with a stop-over at Popham for a coffee/ bacon butty (assuming I can find it). I need to be in Whitchurch for about 14:00 so if I can sneak in a cheeky ride who's up for it.

Would be an 11:00 sharp start from Holiday Inn Basingstoke. Drop you all off either at Popham or Whitchurch. Would remain unconfirmed until 10:00 Sunday morning.

Anyone interested?

Realised most usual suspects were out and about or fending off the beast of Bodmin Moor. However I have a pass and an excuse so hopefully I'll be out anyway trying to find a good route for the next gm ride out.

Ps quiet in here when Thunderace and fallout are both offline

That roads not bad but not great either. It's better than the 303 but no match for the roads over petersfield.

The B3400 is so-so but I found some good stuff around Lavistoke way. Just got to see if I can find them again. Looking for some Nadgery stuff to sort the men from the boys.

Some cracking roads towards Devizes but that's an all day ride-out route and not many passes or fuel allowance extend that far these days.

I write my own passes, it's the fools with girlfriends that are the problem.
