The art of fitting curvy lower fairings?

I've finally collected all of the parts to fit lowers to my curvy. I've fitted all of the mounting brackets but I'm not happy with the way the lowers line up, especially the right-hand one. I'm trying to get it to line up with the upper fairing without touching the exhaust or the engine, but I can't seem to get the brackets in just the right position. Am I missing something obvious? Is there a knack to fitting them?

It's no exact science. I had a few washers handy to space them where needed. It's also worth having the brackets just tight enough to stay in place, but also be able the rotate them by hand, so they are easy to position. If you get the upper edge lined up under the top fairing the rest should eventually line up. The last to do up will be the joining section underneath. You'll also need to only screw in the top and bottom plastic screws for the 'air scoops' so that they swing open allowing you to tighten up the hexhead screw on the fairing, then do up the last one. I found having a blsnket on the floor was good to, saved all the scratches from droping them!
Have fun :)

Thanks svrich, this helped a lot. I had another go this morning and I'm now fully faired! :D

Nice one. Glad to be of some help.
Now that the brackets are in position taking them off for cleaning/servicing will be easy.
