thanks wayne and ben

just a quick thanks to ben who sent me his spare radiator to take to the manx, wasnt needed ben so thats good, tex me the return address and il get it back to you m8, also thanks to wayne axom who popped in to see us in the very muddy padock, sory i couldnt be a little faster m8, conditions wer very poor on the mountain in the newcomer race, i thought fk this, lets just get the finishers medal, one of the most emotionaly stretching 2 weeks of my life, the feeling of your first flying lap as you go past the grandstand, and st ninians and the top of bray hill beckons, is far beyond words, if your thinking about racing at the manx, dont think,,,,,,,do, one life

Rob, you have done what a lot of people talk about. Racing around the world famous mountain circiut is one of the best, and toughest things to do, so to get the finishers medal is a great acheivment. No need for the apology Rob, you let no one down mate, around there you have to do whats right for you and no one else. Fair play to you and anyone else who has competed there or is going to compete there, it will live with you forever, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
catch you soon
Wayne

Yes mate I am planning to do the supertwin TT again next year and then I am planning to go to the manx in the new classic foumula 1 race on an RC30, next year also. The club racing will take a bit of a back seat next year, just a few rounds to keep the mountain course licence up, once you race on the roads its so addictive, you just want more and more :-))))). I have a gpx 600 in my back garden 1986 reg but elidgible, as they were made from 84 I think, but it needs a lot doing to it,to make it race ready.

Hey Rob, well done to you on the finishers medal mate, and sorry I didnt get chance to have more of a chat with you, I had a machanical nightmare and only got 2 laps in resulting in a non qualifyer! I plan to return next year and finish the job off, fingers crossed!
Thanks Wayne for helping me drown my sorrows the night of the Newcomers race, hopefully get chance to spend less time in the Raven and more time doing racing laps next MGP Race Week!
