+1 Terrible tragedy, so many innocent people. Especially all the fire/police/rescue workers who died trying to save others. :salut: America is such a messed up place though. Half the people still think this is the reason for the war with Iraq. There is even stupid popular songs connecting the two, which I'm sure I'll be forced to listen to if there's a radio on anywhere today. "Who watches the news? George W Bush said it and I heard it on Country Music radio so it must be true! Yee Haw!" If ignorance is bliss, then surely America must be the most blissful place on earth. (NOT) |
Re: 9/11 respect
Heard on radio 4 this morning that 1000+ have since died to to illnesses related to the disaster, mainly emergency workers who breathed all the dust etc. What a waste of life.

Re: 9/11 respect
A very sad time, shocking that it was 11 years ago and it still seems to recent.
