Muslim Protests

So now the riots and protests have spread to British and German embassies abroad. am i the only one that feels the rection is more than a little overboard?

Now i don't believe in god or anything similar but i'm pretty sure if someone made a video or a cartoon slagging them off I wouldn't feel the need to riot and set fire to various embassies worldwide.

Time after time we see things like this on the news, I don't think i have ever seen anyone holding a sign saying 'behead all those who insult christianity' but replace christianity with islam and it's a different story.

So all because some idiot made a stupid video people have died, US and Libyans. Utterly ridiculous.

Makes me laugh, you don't get a response even close to theirs when they burn our flags etc. I bet if someone made a cartoon/film depicting God as a bit of a pleb we'd all just laugh about, we certainly wouldn't kill and riot.

I think it says a lot more about them than it does us.

Mate, thats why there will never be intergration, harmony, acceptance etc etc.
They wonder why the west see them as terrorists and fundamentalists, peaceful religion? i dont think so.

They have this attitude like, its do as we say not as we do.

Trouble is, it just tars the peaceful muslim with the same brush.

Agreed. a complete lack of tolerance for one thing.

Aye Phil that much is true. Its like when everyone cried racist when the asian gangs were grooming teenagers and the police chief blammed parts of the asian community. It's not racist if its true.

Does anyone remember the trouble that went on when this was first released?Mary Whitehouse,Malcolm Muggeridge and a host of others screaming to get it banned, and it was banned in many cinemas around the country. The film was actually only made because George Harrison put up the money when Hollywood bottled out because of pressure from the god botherers. Its not just Muslims who go for this fundamentalist authoritarianism, but many other religeons too, with Christianity high up there.
Beware the earnest zealot, however long or short the beard.;)

Didn't see Mrs.Whitehouse calling for the beheading of John Cleese though did we. Mind you, he'd declare it as nothing but a scratch anyway!
