Meteor over North East

Stretchie and I saw it fill up our view out of the windscreen as we were driving north on the M6.

I have seen some sights, but this thing was massive. Anyone else see it?

Saw one over King's Lynn about 22:45ish could be about 10 minutes either side. It very bright, almost like a firework, but it's tail was definitely debris as opposed to propelling it. Then it appeared to break up.

Yay! I saw it on the way back from Leeds, first one I've ever seen and it was awesome, breaking up as it came down. saw a green looking one later coming vertical from my perspective.

Wish I'd seen it aswell but it annoys me how it's being reported as a meteorite or even a meterite shower,of which I've seen many. This wasn't a meteorite as such as it must have been much bigger to not burn up in a second or so, it was space junk. Still looked spectacular though.

Sat in the pub last night With SV4ME and Christopher and watched it scud across the sky. Really impressive, even through drunken eyes.

Surely It's still a meteor even if it is space junk?

If its in the atmosphere it's a meteor.

Only when it's livestock falling from space is it classed as 'meatier'.
