Where has respect gone?
I'd love to know which mod on here is enough of an ass hole to remove the "rip reeder" from my sig strip.
If they wanted to delete the sig, at least have enough decency and repect to leave an rip alone... And people wonder why some of the old regulars are staying away. |
Re: Where has respect gone?
Not me and i can't believe any other mod did either, not something you did by accident?

A moderator is not able to change signatures.

Not an accident. I was asked by one of the mods a while ago to tidy up my sig as "it broke up the threads too much" and if I didn't reduce it, it would be deleted as the mods had the power to remove a sig strip if needed. Now waiting to see who in here that has the power to do that, is happy enough to delete even a line of respect to a fallen friend. |

I don't think I've ever said a moderator can change signatures. Some of the admins may have that authority but a moderator cannot change a signature.
If I think a signature needs changing I will pm the person concerned. I have no power to change it. Sent from my phone. |

Re: Where has respect gone?
"Hey
Just a word about the size of your signature, it has two quote boxes and a message for Reeder. This makes it pretty big when it appears in a thread and can break up the flow for the reader. On short posts your signature will be massive compared to your post :smt087 So I wonder if you would consider cutting it down to something a little less bulky? Thanks" Am now trawling through old emails looking for where I was told that a mod can remove it if need be. I knew virgin stored everything for a reason. |
Re: Where has respect gone?
Perhaps they can delete them but not change them? That would provide a logical way out of the apparent paradox without needing someone to lie.

Re: Where has respect gone?
Just make a new one. I can't imagine anyone would disagree with the sentiment of your message.
