Pointy won't start - no electrics.
I tried wiring in the new LED resistors for the new LED indicators on the rear, wired them in series with the LED's and wouldn't work. Instead it appeared to short out my battery. I suspect that a loose wire touched the chassis. Woops.
Anyway, when I turn the key in the ignition, nothing happens. At all. No lights, no whirring. Absolutely zilch - as if there was no battery connected. ( It was running fine before I did this ) My first thought was a fuse had blown, so I checked all the fuses I could find in the fusebox, all of which were intact? I'm at a complete loss, does anyone have an idea why it doesn't work? Fairly urgent as I rely on the bike for transport at the moment... Is it worth attempting to charge the battery? Not sure how all its charge would have dissipated in a split second though? Tim |
Re: Bike Won't Start - HELP
Have you accidentally tripped the kill switch? Happened to me once, couldn't believe I didn't notice immediately what the trouble was! lol

Even when the killswitch is engaged, the bike's electrics will still turn on. But nothing happens at all. |
