Fork Springs - A Nice Suprise

Today I changed my fork oil for the first time since I have owned my bike, and replaced the dust seals which were getting perished. I had a feeling the forks felt pretty good, although I have not compared them to another SV. When I had the old springs out my suspicions were correct and they were not the standard ones, instead they were a pair of FG Gubellini springs which retail for £245 instead of around £100 for the standard ones. http://www.pureperformancecycles.com...99--08-SV650-S

They look good to me. Has anyone else had any experience with these?

Shame the rear shock is still standard though!

Still you now have £245 to spend on a better rear shock ;)

£245 on F*CKING SPRINGS?!

Do they fit themselves and drive you home from the pub too?!

More important than who made them is probably which spring rate they are and what you weigh, but either way I'm sure the forks feel better for the new oil :)

I had to put 10w oil in as that's the nearest I could get, and is fairly standard. Not sure what spring rate I've got but they have always been quite stiff and never bottom out.
