Differences full/half faired?

Hi
I am on the look out for a half faired pointy and an opportunity has come up for a fully faired model. My question is, if i removed the lower fairing, is the top fairing the same as a half faired and are there any other changes underneath compared to the half faired?

the lower fairings are just an add on. there is no difference apart from having to remove the bracketry and replace the 2 bolts if you want a half faired.
